The Colonel Challenge will enhance the overall experience for EKU student-athletes through NCAA CHAMPS/Life Skills program. The goal of the challenge is to motivate all student-athletes with the guidance of our coaches and athletic administration to develop themselves holistically. The challenge will focus on the five commitment areas of the CHAMPS/Life Skills program: Academic Excellence, Athletic Excellence, Commitment to Service, Personal Development, and Career Development. Teams will be able to earn points by participating in events within the five commitment areas. At the end of the 2009-2010 school year, the team with the most points wins (prizes are yet to be determined). For example: if you attend a career services workshop, you will earn 5pts for your team in the career development category.
